A bit of moon stuff:
"The launch of Explorer 1 in 1958, presided over by none other than Werner von Braun, provided an orbit that was more than 1/3 higher than expected. The orbit was so much larger that the rocket was at first thought to be lost. The expected signal was late, not by a few seconds, but by 12 minutes. Later that decade, Explorers 3 and 4 confirmed the anomaly, as did the three navy rockets of the Vanguard program. The year 1959 saw two more confirmations of this huge anomaly, as the Soviet Luna mission missed the Moon by a large margin. The US mission Pioneer 4 also missed, by an even larger margin. Clearly, the math was very wrong. The standard model has buried this anomaly, telling us that it was a matter of propellants not fully understood; but rocket propulsion at that time, though not an exact science, was not unknown by a third." willied77- As Jesus said Heaven is right here.. we are already in the kingdom of heaven it is paradise we need to obtain. Russell.. I'd like to run something by you. - Jacobs ladder was envisioned with angels decending and accending.. Lets just say for a moment that our planet is the third level from the sun. now if there was a ladder from Venus accending to Earth for a moment.. now to climb here would be to accend but for us to view it it would look like they were decending and the accending. Would it not be better to say the decending beings were accending from a lower place ? Because in the spiritual world there is no up and down. in fact up and down only exist on the ground and it's only used to describe a direction that is away from the earths surface. So if we did accend the ladder to somewere we would still have a long way to go when we got there ? I just like putting this stuff out there I get bored were im posted and get alot of time to think. Also I found an interesting article on the net this thread is pretty big so forgive me if its already been mentioned but it relates to the Hidden Mysteries of Nature and Science, Specificly Magic of will and forceand how we need to have an in depth understanding of things. www.teosofia.com/Mumbai/7510mysteries.htmlCheers Sean Murray

Hi Sean With most imagery used in Masonry there may be several meanings intended, from the various groups that have had custody of Masonry or hidden themselves in Masonry. In the case of Jacob's Ladder you may recall that he saw it in a dream Genesis 28 12 He dreamt that there before him was a ladder resting on the ground with its top reaching to heaven, and the angels of ADONAI were going up and down on it. 13 Then suddenly ADONAI was standing there next to him;.............. 16 Ya'akov awoke from his sleep The ladder of course occurs in various mysteries including Egyptian, Mithraic and Hindu. The Mithraic version is of most use to us: "Celsus describes a Mithraic symbol consisting of a ladder with seven gates, each associated with one of the seven planets, while at the top there is an eighth gate associated with the sphere of the fixed stars and leading to the region beyond that sphere" The Mithraic ladder is as used in Masonry - 7 rungs with a star at the top. Each rung is associated with a planet and this is specified in some higher Masonic degrees. Each rung is a gateway to the celestial sphere named after a planet. Here is a typical depiction of the celestial spheres. As the brother learns to ascend the ladder and pass through each gate into the particular planetary spheres, he or she learns to control substance and energies of those spheres. Each rung/sphere has a tone or note and having learned the appropriate note for each sphere, the brother is able to pass at will into the temple in the heavens not made with hands. As for beings ascending and descending, one meaning of that is that beings without dense bodies need to descend to lower frequencies and generate or capture a body - as occurs with human incarnation. Another meaning is a metaphorical of description of a physical vehicle for traveling to the heavens. Thus: "stand up O ladder of Horus whereon Osiris went forth to heaven". I suspect the scribe was writing long after the event without familiarity of the technology. There may well be other meanings too Cheers Russell
