One could look at it that way. One could also look at it as a mutual respect between Masons.

Yup, luckily there is no tyler at the bar. That is where the good Masonry happens anyway.

Bro Brad, the closest analogy I can find to the situation with Women Masons attending GOdF would be that of non Roman Catholics attending Mass in an RC Church. I know of several High Anglicans, Anglo Catholics and Liberal Catholics who often do so. Leaving aside the doctrinal differences there is great similarity in the Liturgies of each of these churches. A member of one church would feel quite at ease attending another. However, the non RCs would not be able to receive Communion at Mass as the Church of Rome holds the Eucharist to be the "REAL" Presence of Jesus Christ, what is called "Transubstantiation" which differs from the belief of some of the non RC religions. The non RCs would be welcome to participate on all the other aspects of the Mass, say the prayers, sing the hymns etc but not take Communion.
The main point however is that no Masonic body should be in any way coerced into changing against the wishes of the majority of its members. I have read, although I am not sure of the veracity given the provenance thereof, that some GOdF Lodges have initated women and this matter is now being disputed between those Lodges and their Governing Body. I feel that the French will come up with an acceptable "modus vivendi", as they tend to do, satisfatory to both sides and I wish them well so to do. However force of Law should not be used to impose a solution .
Bro Bill Mc Elligott has stated frequently that he likes his (UGLE) Freemasonry just as it is. I for my part like my LDH Freemasonry and whilst I would personally be delighted to meet UGLE Brethren at Meetings it would be on the basis of "When in Rome" and there are very many aspects of UGLE/Malecraft which I would NOT wish to see imported into LDH.
