Hi Bod, i am in London that day, but at my friends installation at Clerkenwell. A double raising!! are they seperate or together, as in my opion if they are done together they lose their effect and can appear watered down, you must have a que waiting to come in if your lodge is doing double ceremonies. thats going to be a long time in the lodge regards Mike.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The Surrey Masonic Sports Association, is holding the National Masonic Charity Clay Shoot on Saturday the 25th August 2007 at The National Shooting Ground Bisley.
All the information and application form is on the Surrey Provincial Website at www.surreymason.org.uk
The shoot is open to masons and non-masons, and families are most welcome, there will be lots to do during the course of the day.
If anyone would like to sponsor/place an advert as a company or individual in the programme for this event, then please let me know, my contact details can be found on the website.

Hi Mr Mason, i have found two craft lodgs that will be meeting in Croydon on Monday 11th, they are Mutual Defence 6711 and Crescamus 7776. I know one of the members of Mutual Defence and he also happens to be one of the APG'MS of Surrey, i know that they have recently merged but it says in my book Monday. SUNDAY 15TH OCTOBER FROM 9.30
This Shoot will comprise of a 80 Bird Sporting with teams of 3 For those of you that can’t make up a team you will be put into a team on the day.
The entry fee will be £35 per person. This package is also inclusive of cartridges, and a Buffet at the Dragon Public House afterwards.
There will also be Trophies for High Gun, 2nd, & 3rd. Team Trophies for 1st 2nd & 3rd and other various prizes on the day. The Trophy presentation & Raffle will be held afterwards at the Dragon Pub.

It has been a long time coming but i joined The Mark masons last week and what a great ceremony, everyone so relaxed it was a great night.
On Wednesday the 28th of June it is the Province of Surreys Meeting at Gt Q St I will be attending to receive the Provincial Honour, of PROV G STEWARD Active. I would be delighted if anyone on here would like to come along, start time is 2.45 and afterwards i will be buying the beers. I'm not dining but may go for a bite afterwards, so anyone who fancies a free beer or two afterwards, then come along and join me and a few other brothers you will be most welcome, regards Mike.

If it's Pompey then Gun Wharff Quays is an exellent place for food, there is the Char Grill Bar where you cook your own at the table, just like an indoor BARB. Like Staffs i have a few customers in Brighton, and there are some great places to go, and if your bringing partners my missus will be Masoned out within the first 5 mins if we go into the Brighton Masonic temple, but maybe a bit of retail therapy? Steve the opportunity to pass up a beer or two, tut tut.
