If possible would any brother be able to get me a copy of the above magazine, just to see the layout/ contents etc. I'm interested, as over the various forums there have been different opinions. I will gladly pay for any postage/envelope costs. Also it doesn't have to be the latest one

Im off to Allied Masonic Degrees at Wokingham in a few minutes.
Well done Lee, I dont receive this Inflight Mag anymore since I asked them not to send it to me. I think I threw all the old copies in the bin when I had a tidy up. I prefer "Freemasory Today" anytime!

Is there an online edition of "Freemasonry Today"? If not, how does one subcribe?

Not sure if I've missed something here, but you are aware that MQ is available online, right? It's currently as far back as April 2004, though I believe they'll go back more in time. AFAIK everything that's in the print edition is there: www.mqmagazine.co.ukSpeaking for myself, I was stunned to find that UGLE's idea of quarterly communications to its members (at least the London ones) is just a single printed copy to each lodge secretary, leaving each member to fight for... I mean share it between them. MQ is about the Communications, with filler for interest. Freemasonry Today and The Square are far better publications, IMHO, because they're dedicated to articles and items of interest. Apples and oranges.

Lee, Will let you know when it arrives, many thanks. Second class is a good start but it will take more than that to keep up with us porridge chompers. If you can drop a penny and have it hit you on the back of the head on the way down, then, your a true "jock".

I've always considered expensive wines to be a bit of a rip-off. I'm certainly no connoisseur, but we've on the odd occasion had acquaintances around for dinner who love to brag about their expertise when it comes to wine. They'd constantly go on about the lovely vineyards of France or Chile, etc. Plonkers (Pun intended One night feeling a bit mischievous I decided to test one of them and put several glasses of cheap wine that we picked up from Aldis in front of him. It was highly amusing watching him go through the whole process of sipping the wine and giving is "expert" advice. You should have seen the look on his face when he found out they only cost about 5 EUR (£3) a bottle!

More often than not it is the grape that makes the wine and where it is grown - yes the vineyard can make or break it, but if you know what grapes you like you are generally ok on picking wine. And price isn't always an indicator of quality!
Thanks for my copy of the Deacon staffs, if anyone wants me to send my one on to them to save lee having to print out more let me know and I'll send it on.
Very professional feel to this one, particularly liked the colour photos - nice touch!
